New Jussi Björling portrait at the museum

A portrait of the young Jussi Björling, painted by the artist Tomas Holst from Dala-Järna, has been donated to the museum. It was delivered by the artist on March 5.

 

 

 

 

The painting is called "Jussi Björling's Longing for Stora Tuna". Jussi appears against a background of Dalarna mountains. To the right, a fishing boy can be seen.
