Now is Road 800 open for trafic. The road is going from Islingby to Torsång and is called the New Islingby road.
The opening ceremony of the new road took part on a sunny and windy September day and the road was opened by the head of the executive board in Borlänge Nils Persson and Lars Nord from the Swedish Road Administration. The location of the opening ceremony was at the school of Alsbäck which is located at the same distance

from Islingby as from Torsång.
An orchestra was playing and Lars and Nils took off in two veteran cars. Nils went in the direction of Islingby since Borlänge municipality has funded the distance Islingby-Alsbäck, and Lars in the direction of Torsång since the Road Administration funded the distance Alsbäck-Torsång.
