Our family day-care centres are part of the municipality’s pre-school/school-age child care. Although each centre is different, they are all specially geared towards everyday educational needs.
Our family day-care system is conducted in the childminders’ own homes. There are also a number of family day-care collectives, where 3-5 childminders work together in designated premises.
Our work with children is based on the home environment and different everyday situations. Home-cooked, varied and nutritious meals are served.
Childminders also have access to a group premises where groups of children can meet regularly to pursue joint activities.
