Thanks to the forces of progress, we are faced with new challenges; this also applies to our schools and teaching. Old boundaries are being obliterated and contact with the outside world is becoming more important.
We are also seeing how young people are developing on a more individual level than before and we are encouraged by the fact that we can help them along the way.
The quality requirements for Borlänge Municipality‘s schools and pre-schools are set forth in Borlänge Municipality‘s quality manual, which lists all the quality specifications and criteria that currently apply. Among other things, each student has his/her own documented progress plan.
Another way of making sure that our students are adequately educated is by conducting compulsory tests in core subjects from the 2nd grade. The results of these tests are documented and followed up, and subsequently become a helpful tool for the students during the rest their school lives.
