Borlänge is a meeting point and the hub in Dalarna’s rail and air traffic services and major motorways. The municipality has its own airport (Dala Airport) which has daily departures to Stockholm, Gothenburg and Europe. The X 2000 high-speed train operates the Stockholm-Borlänge line. You can travel here by bus, too; there are many bus companies to choose from, all with departures to many different destinations.
The National Rail Administration (Banverket) and National Road Administration (Vägverket) both have their head offices in Borlänge.
