Borlänge Municipality has a wide range of schools in all sizes. We have small village schools with 50 students or less and larger schools that cater to pre-school classes all the way up to the 9th grade.
Many of our schools provide special programmes including natural sciences/technology, soccer, ice hockey and environmental studies.
Parents who wish to enrol their children into schools outside their own catchment area should contact the principal at the school of their choice to enquire about possible vacancies. Children living inside a school’s catchment area have priority of admission.
